- Planning, planning, planning is the key!
- Locations
- Shots, shots, shots!
- Who will be cast?
- We must get the script right!
- How long do we have to film it in? How many scenes will we need to shoot each day?
- How will we break the script down into scenes? Add locations into scenes.
- What times will each scene be shot?
- Who will scout locations?
- How many locations do we need?
- Which order will we shoot in?
- What needs to be organised?
- R17, how will we shoot the first TV shot?
- What needs to be on our storyboard? Will it be drawn?
- It's great to be able to film just exactly what is needed - we don't have a huge budget!
- Could there be an establishing shot to begin a scene? For example, house shot of mum making dinner while child is watching TV.
- Faces are crucial - what emotions do we want to portray?
- We rehearsed a scene, then did a single take - Isla, Nico, Liam, Jeremy and Stella played their possible parts brilliantly! Some may have got a little carried away...
- How can we use our creativity to make scenes real?
- What is important in each scene?
