my pen
waits
all day
in my drawer
alone
she is
ready
to write
waiting
for my
return home
she
remembers
the stories
she told
my return
has come
and a story
begins
Ode to My Clothes- by Beth

resting
in my closet
all night
dreaming
of what
happened
today
muddy and wet
tired out
from what they did
ready for
what might
happen tomorrow
then
waking up
and excited
for today
Ode to My Bed- by Sam

my bed
he rests
after a night of
sleeping
his sheets
bedraggled
but soon made
neat and tidy
whilst I'm gone
he dreams
of being occupied
by a sleeper
he is revisited
by me at
night
ready for a night's work
during the night
tossing and turning
doesn't bother him
it's part of the job
Ode to My Bag- by Cruz

my bag
rests
at night
behind my door
tired
he loosens
his straps and
zips
wide open
his insides exposed
as drifts
off to sleep
then he begins to dream
revisiting the items
placed inside him
through the day
and wakes up
relaxed
motivated and
cheerful
those poems were amazing, how long did that take!
